Mendenhall Paces Volleyball in Season Finale

Doane Volleyball closed out their season on Tuesday evening, dropping a three-set match with Mount Marty (S.D.). The Tigers end their season at 8-25 overall and 1-15 in GPAC play.

Leading the way for Doane was Simonie Mendenhall (SR/Clancy, Mont.) as she picked up eight kills in 11 attacks for a .727 attack percentage. Kirsten Bures (SR/Odell, Neb.) added six kills. As a team, the Tigers had 26 kills with a 0.091 attack percentage.

Jaime Renshaw (SR/Sioux Falls, S.D.) led the team with 17 assists and Jordan Bolte (SO/Bruning, Neb.) added five. The Tigers picked up three ace serves, led by Taylor Sluka (SO/Lincoln, Neb.) with two.

Defensively, Sophia McKinney (FR/Grand Island, Neb.) led the back row with 11 digs and Renshaw added nine. Doane finished with four team blocks in the match with Olivia Navarro (JR/Barcelona, Spain) in on three of the blocks.
