Women's Cross Country has Solid Showing in Iowa
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - Doane Women's Cross Country competed in their first 6K race of the year as they took part in the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Dordt. The Tigers placed 10th overall in the Gold Division race. Doane finished ahead of Saint Mary and Concordia, two teams receiving votes in the national poll.
Danie Parriott led the way by placing 31st with a time of 22:25, about three seconds off her personal best set in last year's race. Maddy Ramey ran a time of 22:50 to place 43rd. Calla Wittland finished 52nd with a time of 23:02 and Delaney Catron was 62nd with a time of 23:15. Alison Bradford ran a time of 23:53 to finish 82nd with Mackenzy Lippold placing 83rd with a time of 23:54.
In the Black Division race, the Tigers placed fifth. Competing for the Tigers were:

Doane will co-host the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic on October 25 at Mahoney State Park by Ashland, Neb.
