Women's Cross Country Opens at Augustana Twilight

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Doane Women's Cross Country opened the season on Friday night under the lights at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, S.D., competing in the Augustana Twilight. The Tigers finished 12th overall with 339 team points in the 5K race.

Ashlei McDonald paced the Tigers on the day with a time of 18:42.54 to place 43rd. Maddy Ramey placed 79th with a time of 19:18.30, a personal best by nearly three minutes. Delaney Catron took 105th place with a time of 19:41.06, a personal best. Mackenzy Lippold ran a personal best time of 19:45.25 and placed 112th. Alison Bradford notched a personal best time to round out the Top 5 Tigers with a mark of 19:55.32 to place 121st.
