Women's Cross Country Receiving Votes in National Poll

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll for Women's Cross Country on Thursday and the Doane women's team was receiving votes in the poll. The Tigers had six points, sitting 35th overall.

Recently picked third in the preseason conference poll, the Tigers return their top eight runners from the conference meet a year ago. Leading the way are returning NAIA National qualifiers Calla Wittland and Danie Parriott. Other top returners include Mackenzy Lippold, Laura Hasemann, Delaney Catron, Grace Colbert, Alison Bradford, and Maddy Ramey. Ashlei McDonald is back in the mix as well after a red-shirt cross country season. She earned All-GPAC honors in the 1,500m and 5,000m outdoor track and field championships.

Doane will open the season at the Augustana Twilight on Friday, September 5, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
