CSC Academic All-District Announced for At-Large Division
The 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams have been announced for the At-Large division. Doane placed the full allotment of six on this year's list.
Recognized for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom are Cristelle Rodriguez, Bridgette Sotomayor, Ashlee Palimo'o, Macie Sefrit, Samantha Knapp, and Kaylee Samland. All recipients of the honor hold a cumulative grade point average above a 3.50.
Rodriguez was an All-American and national champion for women's wrestling. She was named the NAIA Women's Wrestler of the Year for the second straight season and the inaugural GPAC Women's Wrestler of the Year.
Sotomayor earned All-American honors in wrestling, her first for the Tigers. She was also an all-conference selection for the second time.
Palimo'o was a national qualifier for the women's wrestling team, her first as a Tiger. She earned All-GPAC honors as well on the season.
Sefrit was a member of both the competitive dance and competitive cheer teams for the Tigers. She earned all-conference honors in dance for the third time and was a member of the national qualifying team.
Knapp was also a member of the national qualifying dance team and earned All-GPAC honors for the second time in her career.
Samland was a member of the competitive cheer team. She was a four-year competitor, earning NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors two times.
