Women's Track and Field NAIA Preview

CRETE, Neb. — The Doane University women's track and field team will be well represented on the national stage this week as 18 Tigers have qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for March 5–7 at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida.

Doane qualified competitors across sprints, middle distance, relays, jumps, vault, and throws, highlighting the program's depth following a runner-up finish at the GPAC Indoor Championships earlier this season.

The Tigers will be led by national contenders in multiple events, including junior standout Neryah Hekl in the 60 meters, seniors Tania Gleason (200 meters) and Kat Vogt (200 and 400 meters), and a strong throwing group featuring Mia Knigge, Kaylie Lotspeich, and Trinity Becher in the weight throw. Doane also qualified three athletes in the pole vault, including defending national champion Kaylee Pribyl, and three in the triple jump.

Doane's 4x400-meter relay team enters the national meet with a qualifying time of 3:47.35 and features Kat Vogt, Tania Gleason, Kiley Hejtmanek, Danie Parriott, and Jayden Meyer.
