Vogt Races to GPAC Track Weekly Honor

(GPAC RELEASE - Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's indoor track athlete-of-the-week for events held January 19-25, 2026. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.        

Track Events – Katie Vogt, Doane University

Katie Vogt of Doane University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Vogt, a senior, from Pierce, Nebraska, broke the 400m school record for the second straight week, posting a time of 55.10 which leads the GPAC and is second in the NAIA. She added a personal best time of 24.94 in the 200m, the third-fastest time in Doane history. She is currently fifth in the NAIA and second in the GPAC in the event.
