Gleason Named GPAC Track Athlete of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held December 8-14, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Track Events – Tania Gleason, Doane University

Tania Gleason of Doane University is this week's women's track athlete-of-the-week. Gleason, a senior, from Bennington, Nebraska, posted the fastest time in the NAIA in the 200m with a converted track time of 24.47. She also was a part of the 4x400 relay that hit a converted track time of 3:49.70, an NAIA automatic national qualifying time and second-fastest in the NAIA.
