Women's Golf Places Second in Colorado Meet

WINDSOR, Colo. - Doane Women's Golf closed out the fall slate on Tuesday at the Battle at the Dance Invite hosted by Hastings at RainDance National GC in Colorado. The Par 72 course covered 5,937 yards.

Doane posted a 641 (335-306) to take second place behind No. 23 Rocky Mountain (Mont.). Leading the charge for the Tigers were Kaitlyn Dumler and Connie Jarm as they tied for third overall with a 155. The two golfers posted identical marks over 36 holes as each player collected one eagle, four birdies, and 17 pars.

Avery Van Horn tied for ninth with a 166. She had two birdies and 14 pars in the tournament. Tia Phaisan placed 13th with a 173, notching one eagle, three birdies and seven pars. Laila Saunders posted a 175 to place 14th, collecting one birdie and 11 pars.

Playing under individual status, Payton Morgan placed fifth with a 157. She had four birdies and 20 pars in the tournament. Jamisyn Kirkpatrick finished 18th with a 186, picking up one birdie and nine pars over 36 holes.

Doane will return to action in March 2026.
