Women's Golf Competes in Florida
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - The Doane women's golf team traveled south to compete in the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Keiser. The Tigers posted a 54-hole score of 1,023 (352-330-341) to place 16th in the tournament that featured 100 golfers.
Connie Jarm paced the Tigers with a three-round score of 244 (84-81-79) to tie for 46th overall. For the tournament, she recorded 30 pars which tied for 17th-most and she played the Par 5 holes at even-par, also tied for 17th-best in the tournament. Kaitlyn Dumler placed 74th with a 256 (88-86-82).
Avery Van Horn tied for 82nd with a 261 (90-78-93). Her round of 78 was tied for 20th-best in the second round. Tia Phaisan tied for 86th with a 263 (90-85-88). Payton Morgan placed 92nd with a 282 (97-93-92).
Next up for the Tigers will be the Mount Marty Invite at Tatanka GC in Niobrara on September 22-23.
