Men's Cross Country Places 20th at NAIA Championships
Tallahassee, Fla. – The NAIA Cross Country Championships were held on Friday morning in Florida. The runners made their way through the foggy Apalachee Regional Park course with the men's race starting at 9:30 AM local time. The Tiger men, making their third straight team appearance, placed 20th overall.
Leading the way for the Tigers was senior Emmanuel Yego who put together a season-best performance. He ran a time of 25:32.0 and placed 59th overall. Porter Bickley placed 79th overall with a time of 25:43.4. Jayden Wall took 117th place with a time of 26:05.1. Michael Grigsby finished in 26:14.6 to place 145th while Alvin Keter finished 192nd with a time of 26:34.1.
Also running for the Tigers, Will Dawes placed 271st with a time of 27:41.8 with Nate O'Brien taking 291st with a time of 28:30.2.
