Men's Cross Country Runs Strong Race at Dordt

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - Doane Men's Cross Country competed in the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Dordt on Saturday morning. The Tigers placed third overall in the Gold Division, pacing the way among NAIA teams, as they finished behind NCAA D2 Augustana (S.D.) and NCAA D1 South Dakota State.

Michael Grigsby paced Doane with a time of 24:57 to place 13th overall. Porter Bickley finished 15th overall with a time of 25:06. Jayden Wall ran a time of 25:10 to place 17th. Alvin Keter posted a 19th place finish as he ran a time of 25:16. Emmanuel Yego rounded out the scorers with a time of 25:55 to place 45th overall.

Doane will co-host the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic on October 25 at Mahoney State Park by Ashland, Neb.
