Men's Cross Country Takes Second in Iowa

Men's Cross Country traveled to Sioux Center, Iowa, to compete in the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Classic. The Tigers took second overall, finishing behind No. 12 Dordt and ahead of Concordia and Benedictine, both receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll.

Doane was led by Thomas Oliver's personal best time of 24:54.07 as he finished second overall. Nelson Ruto placed sixth with a time of 25:06.23 and Porter Bickley was 10th with a time of 25:30.64. Luke Bonifas came across the finish line in 25:49.89 to place 19th and Michael Grigsby was 21st overall with a time of 25:51.51.

Next up for the Tigers will be the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic on October 26 at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The course is also the site of the 2024 GPAC Championships in November.
