Men's Cross Country Places Sixth in Opening Meet

Men's Cross Country opened the 2024 season on Friday night under the lights in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the Augustana Twilight. The Tigers finished sixth overall and were the top NAIA team.

Michael Grigsby led the team with a time of 19:24.0 to finish 31st overall. Porter Bickley crossed the finish line in 19:29.4 to place 35th and Thomas Oliver was 37th with a time of 19:30.7. Nelson Ruto finished 81st with a time of 20:13.7 and Emmanuel Yego placed 86th with a time of 20:17.0 to cap the team scorers.

Doane will be back in action on September 21 in Lincoln when they compete at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite.
