Men's Track and Field Competes in Seward
SEWARD, Neb. - Doane University men's track and field turned in a strong all-around showing at the Concordia Invite on Monday in Seward, highlighted by event victories on the track, in the jumps, and in the throws, along with multiple national qualifying marks.
Joaquin Gutierrez led the way on the track with a first-place finish in the 400 meters, clocking a 49.41. Orion Ulmer made it a 1-2 finish for the Tigers in the event at 50.97, while Dakota Miser added a 10th-place result in 52.73. Doane also had a dominant day in the hurdles as Tommy Smith won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.49 after posting the top prelim time of 14.92.
