Bio

Coach Lauren Tamayo joined the Tiger coaching staff in Fall 2023.

Prior to joining the Tigers, she was an assistant coach at Millard West H.S. for one season. She brings with her a vast knowledge of the GPAC and the NAIA after competing collegiately at Hastings from 2018-22. Tamayo was a 10-time NAIA All-American, named the NAIA Indoor Field Athlete of the Year in 2021 and 2022 as well as the GPAC Outstanding Female Athlete in 2021 and 2022. She graduated from Hastings holding the indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon school records.
