Men's Golf Places 10th at NAIA National Preview
SILVIS, Ill. - Doane Men's Golf traveled to TPC Deere Run for the NAIA National Preview meet hosted by Saint Ambrose (Iowa). The Tigers posted a 613 (311-302) to place 10th overall out of 21 teams. The two-day tournament covered 36 holes and was Par 71.
Jax Loh led the way for the Tigers as he tied for 20th overall. Loh posted a 151 (77-74) and finished second in the tournament with 26 pars made. Joshua Wassmer tied for 24th with a 152 (78-74). Cauy Walters and Toby Knevett tied for 34th in the tournament. Walters posted rounds of 76-79 for a 155 while Knevett posted rounds of 80-75 for his 155. Embree Stutsman tied for 63rd with a 161 (82-79) and led all Tiger golfers with five birdies over the two rounds.
Marian was the team champion with a 594 (292-302). Sam Dykema of Indiana Wesleyan was the individual medalist with a 137 (68-69).
Next up for the Tigers will be the Nebraska Intercollegiate on October 6-7 in Fremont at Fremont G.C.
