Men's Golf Takes Fifth at FST Invite; Weiss Finishes Top 10

Men's Golf participated in the FST Invitational held at Pinecrest CC in Longview, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday. The Tigers placed fifth overall in the 54-hole event, recording a 902 (296-300-306).

Ryan Weiss paced the Tigers with a four-over par, 220 (73-73-74), as he tied for 7th. Sam Arnold tied for 15th with a 225 (70-78-77). Thomas Benninghoff finished with a 232 (76-77-79) and placed 42nd while Julius Kroell tied for 43rd with a 233 (84-72-77). Julius Rauter shot a 234 (77-79-78) and placed 46th with Josh Wassmer placing 49th with a 236 (78-79-79). Blake Skoumal played under individual status and shot a 228 (80-70-78) to tie for 29th.

Next up for Doane will be The Battle in Bullhead City, Ariz., on March 25-26 at Laughlin Ranch GC. The event will be 54 holes with the first two rounds contested on the first day of play.
