Oberhauser Caps Career With GPAC Player of the Week Honor

Doane Men's Basketball senior Alec Oberhauser has been tabbed the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season. This marks the first time he has received the honor.

In the Tigers road win at Mount Marty, Oberhauser posted 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting. He pulled in 11 rebounds and dished out three assists. In the team's home loss to Briar Cliff, Oberhauser finished with 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting to go with 13 rebounds and six assists. For the week, he averaged 27.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and had a 9-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Oberhauser shot 64.7-percent from the floor, 50-percent from behind the 3-point arc, and 83.3-percent at the free throw line.

Oberhauser went over the 1,000-career point mark in his Doane career with his final basket against Briar Cliff to finish with 1,001 points in three seasons. He also had 548 rebounds and 228 assists in his Doane playing career. For his collegiate career, he finished with 1,188 career points, 690 rebounds, and 309 assists.
