The 2026 schedule for the Doane Football team was released on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers will play an 11-game schedule this season with six games at home.
The season will open under the lights at Papik Field/Memorial Stadium as Doane will host Texas College in the first meeting between the two programs. The Tigers will play the following two weeks on the road to open conference play as they travel to Dakota Wesleyan and Morningside.
Following a bye week, Doane will host their GPAC home opener as they take on Waldorf on September 26. The following week, the Tigers will host Mount Marty for Homecoming. Another two-game road swing will feature trips to Dordt and Northwestern before the team is back home on October 24 against Briar Cliff.
The Nebraska series will start with the final road game of the regular season on October 31 at Concordia. Doane will wrap up the regular season with two home games as they face Midland (Nov. 7) and Hastings (Nov. 14). The Tigers and Broncos will close out the regular season with the playing of the 125th all-time meeting between the two programs, the state of Nebraska's longest rivalry game.
