Doane Leads NAIA in NFF Hampshire Honor Society Recipients
The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced a record number of members for the 2024 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their college careers.
Leading the NAIA were Doane and Southeastern (Fla.) with 12 recipients each. They were among the 1,988 players from 339 schools to receive the honor. Nebraska led the FBS level with 21 while North Dakota led FCS with 20. Bentley (Mass.) and Colorado School of Mines led Division II with 12 while Tufts (Mass.) led Division III with 20. Cornell (N.Y.) led the Collegiate Sprint Football League with 13.
Receiving the NFF Hampshire Honor Society honor for the Tigers were Matthew Arent, Cole Essex, Nate Fox, Seth Hagan, Matthew Koepsell, Owen Kuntz, Ty Martinsen, Zack Perez, Marcus Randazzo, Jackson Seward, Jared Smith, and Briggs Songster.
