CRETE, Neb. – Doane competitive dancer Emma Ramsey has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team, recognizing her excellence in the classroom and contributions to one of the nation's top competitive dance programs.

The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement while competing at a high level in their respective sports. Ramsey played a key role in a memorable season for the Tigers, helping Doane earn multiple team championships and a top-six national finish.

Doane opened the 2026 competition season with a second-place finish at the Dordt Invite before capturing team titles at the Doane Invite and Hastings Triangular. The Tigers continued their strong season with a runner-up finish at the GPAC Championships and secured an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championships.

At the national level, Ramsey helped lead Doane to a sixth-place finish at the 2026 NAIA Competitive Dance National Championships, placing the Tigers among the elite programs in the country. The national finish highlighted a season that also saw Ramsey earn NAIA All-America recognition for the second consecutive year.

Ramsey's Academic All-District selection reflects the balance of academic success and athletic achievement that has defined her career at Doane. Her recognition adds to an impressive list of accomplishments for a Tiger dance program that continues to excel on both the national stage and in the classroom.
