The Tiger men's track and field team posted a sixth place finish at the NAIA Indoor Championships following the completion of the three-day event. Doane finished with 36 points as five individuals and the 4x800m relay team posted Top Eight finishes and All-American honors.

BJ Lawrence repeated as the national champion in the 60m and 200m dashes. Lawrence won the 60m dash in a photo finish time of 6.715 seconds while Rumeal McKinney of Aquinas was second with a time of 6.717 seconds. In the 200m dash, Lawrence ran a school record time of 20.94 for the championship.
Edwin Ronoh claimed a pair of individual All-American honors in the 600m and 1000m runs. In the 600, Ronoh ran a time of 1:20.34 to place 7th while notching a time of 2:28.71 in the 1000m to place 6th.
Rob Keeney placed sixth in the two-day heptathlon despite battling illness as he scored 4,915 points. His top scoring events were the 60m hurdles, 1000m run and the long jump.
Zack Lindsley placed sixth in the weight throw with a season-best throw of 18.46m. His All-American mark came on his final throw of the meet.
Brad Higgins took seventh in the heptathlon with 4,886 points. His top scoring events were the 1000m run, 60m hurdles and high jump.
Mauro Parnell took eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 14.40m. He hit the mark on his second jump of the meet.
The 4x800m relay team of Jory Pflasterer, Derek Schnell, Jens Scholl and Ronoh also placed seventh in the meet. They ran a season-best time of 7:44.34 in the prelims and posted their second-best time of the year in the finals with a mark of 7:47.01.
